Escuela Superior de Musica in Mexico City: not only a music school, but a fantastic architectural achievement

Welcome to the first entry in my new blog: Stelluto Offstage. I am looking forward to sharing with you the wonderful performances, people, and places I am privileged to experience. There are so many from the past and so many I am looking forward to in the near future that it is hard to know where to begin. So, I decided to focus over my next several entries on this past Spring and Summer 2012 in a series called “BUSY SPRING – BUSY SUMMER.” An exciting time to be sure, look for entries on my recent concerts with the Juilliard Orchestra, the Peoria Symphony Orchestra, the Juilliard Pre-College Symphony, and the New York Youth Symphony; my trips to Mexico City and Sao Paulo, Brazil, and my work with the Elgin Youth Symphony and at the Ravinia Festival this summer. In all of these places I met fascinating musicians of all ages, great leaders in the arts, and wonderful orchestras such as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. I hope you will enjoy this new venture of mine.
